Hardt Hyperloop, a Dutch startup developing magnetic floating pods that travel through a network of low-pressure tubes using magnetic levitation, is hoping to revolutionize mass transport. The company has developed numerous prototypes and test benches and is part of the European Hyperloop Center, having received €15 million in funding from the EU Commission. Hardt’s hyperloop tech for passengers and cargo is expected to reach cruising speeds of 700km/h and a top speed of 1,000km/h, significantly reducing travel time. The system is also sustainable, producing no direct emissions and powered by green electricity.
