The situation generated by COVID-19 is reinforcing urban fragilities and inequalities, and it emphasises the need to help countries address the drivers of fragility in a holistic manner and for long-term engagement. In this context, experts from around the world are trying to visualise and comprehend the challenges that the world is facing during this global crisis. Throughout this session with Saskia Sassen, sociologist, writer and professor of sociology at the Robert S.
