In 2018 the NITI Aayog was tasked with designing a blueprint for mainstreaming artificial intelligence (AI) in India with the objective of AI for all. The government think tank identified half a dozen sectors where AI could make a meaningful difference to bridge the access deficit and raise the quality of delivery.
From healthcare to education, from agriculture to smart mobility, the government hopes that an AI-driven future will help unlock economic potential and aid growth.
