What is Tomorrow.City? And what does it have to do with Smart City Expo World Congress?
Tomorrow.City is a digital cross-media content platform for cities and all the players involved in shaping them. Pioneered by Smart City Expo World Congress after 10 years of creating a global leading event, it aims to broaden our impact by bringing everyone onboard 365 days a year and actively engaging with the entire smart city sector.

Our web version is available at www.tomorrow.city. You can also download the app for Android* and iOS*Supported up to version 5.0.
Do I need to register to access Tomorrow.City content? Is it free?
Access is free. You just need to register to access all content available on the platform.
Will live content be available on demand after the sessions? And when?
Yes, live sessions are uploaded as VOD shortly after they end. You can watch them on the same page they were broadcast or navigate on our platform to discover more.
Can I save live or VOD sessions to watch later?
You can save sessions by clicking the button “My list” under the description of the session. You can access your list of saved sessions through the “My Account” button, on the top right corner of the site.
Why are certain contents and people recommended to me? And can I change my preferences?
We use the information provided during the registration process to suggest specific content and other users* that have shown interest in the same topics as you.You can change your preferences anytime through the “My Account” button, on the top right corner of the site.*More info about “Recommended people” in the next question.
Is there a networking tool that I can use to contact other users?
Yes, you need to give your consent in the “Networking” part of the registration process. If you didn’t do this during registration, you can activate it anytime by accessing “My Account” on the top right corner of the platform and clicking on the checkbox “I allow to publish my data on the website to network”.
You will then see “Recommended people” on the homepage who are linked to the interests you chose at registration, and another set of “Recommended people” in videos, selected according to the content topic. You just need to click on a recommended user and a form will pop-up so you can send them him/her an email.
During live sessions, you will also be able to chat with other participants in an open conversation. FIRA DE BARCELONA shall be exempt from any liability resulting from the opinions freely expressed by the users in the chat.
How can I use the Q&A and polls system during live sessions?
You will see that some sessions have an extra feature near the chat that allows users to type in a question in a closed channel, so the moderator can pass them on to the speakers.
It also allows users to vote on the polls launched by the organizer of the session, and immediately see the percentage of votes for each answer.
How does the “Rate” button work?
You can rate live sessions and VOD contents with up to 5 stars to let us know your thoughts on it. This will be very useful for us to assess what kind of formats and topics worked best and respond appropriately by giving you more of the best rated content.
How can I share a session?
By clicking the “Share” button below the description of any live session or VOD content. You will be able to send it to your contacts through WhatsApp, or post it on Facebook and Twitter.
How can I edit my personal data?
You can edit your personal data, preferences and authorization to use your data for networking purposes on the “My Account” page (clicking the button on the top-right corner of the platform).
How can I unsubscribe from the platform altogether?
You can unsubscribe from the platform in the “My Account” page (clicking the button on the top-right corner of the platform).
