It’s been a year since companies across the globe sent employees home to work as the pandemic spread.
While many businesses were forced to shut down permanently, remote work enabled others to survive, and even thrive in some cases. As a result, many employers have decided to offer more flexibility when it comes to where and when their employees work.Andrew Hewitt, a senior analyst at market research firm Forrester, expects about 60% of companies to offer a hybrid work model, while 10% will be fully remote.And while working from home comes with its fair share of challenges, it’s also provided some workers the opportunity to make some life-changing decisions.
